I'm glad to see the positive reviews because if the somewhat sim direction Live is heading doesn't get rewarded I don't see why they would stick with it.

Right now Live is in a better position than NBA 2k for next year. Live has a much better foundation with gameplay, all they have to do now is focus mostly on presentation.

To have two games battling it out is great for the consumers. It's a shame what happened to NFL gaming.

Naw seems a little like he\'s intent on bashing. I\'ve seen clipping issues but this CONSTANTLY thing he\'s talking about is going overboard. I may see clipping once every couple of games. But this guys acts like it happens every other play which it clearly doesnt.

I agree...the points he made are very true but he made it sound like it was a constant problem...

Yeah, the problem with Live this year is that even though they have the superior gameplay, they can't compete with 2k in terms of features.

I think the collision detection is actually quite good.

I agree...that stood out as a strange statement...he mentioned a few examples of bad detection and that was it...I feel like that is a strong point with this game vs. the other one...

The collision detection was one of the gameplay points that sold me in the demo comparison I was doing last weekend. I feel I can manuver and flow better in Live, and that has as much to do with the collision detection as the animation systems.

I like 2k and won't knock it. It's got great commentary and slick presentation, but I prefer Live this year because it feels more like basketball to me. I've still got 2k8 and 2k9 sitting at the house if I ever want to go back for a fix, lol.

Cant compete with 2k, What? thats like saying u have a "Ferrari with a yugo engine.." Looks good but it don't go nowhere" - Don Belligachi.. Gameplay is essential for playing a game..

The content of that Game Informer review is pretty poor.

Thats what u get when the reviewer plays Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft....Dont get me wrong there are issues with the game but at least It don't windmill on 3 guys like 2k...
