PS3, no commentary sound during game

the setting was set at the maximum volume already, but all i heard during game were pa announcer (very quiet as well) and the crowd noise. is this normal? it's not like i miss steve kerr's commentary or anything but just wonder if this is a bug.

That was my first sign before my ps3 started freezing 10 minutes into both my EA games.
So If you have other non EA try them out to see if they freeze.
People are having EA freeze issues on both platforms 360 and ps3 but not everyone and nothing has been confirmed .
Well I sent it in as I thought the disc drive went bad but who knows ?

mine didn't freeze, i was able to play through the whole game. just not getting any sound for commentary and ball bouncing on the floor and the swish of the net. all i heard was crowd noise and a whimpy pa announcement during the game.

This happens to me whenever I intervene in dynasty games. Never any freezing though.

originally i thought this had to do with the dynasty mode as well, i reboot the console and played a regular game but still wasn't getting any commentary sound. thinking of exchange for another one.

Well Im getting it back Friday so I hope all goes well .
Im kind of upset not really knowing what it was and losing all my psn info but they did fix mine for free I cant believe they actually charge people $177 after 12 months ?
These system just like TVs or Cpu should last alot longer when spending $400 - $600 .
I still dont understand how some can get freeze and others not thru firmware or patches so Im hope it was just my ps3 as I really enjoyed Live

well, i just tried out the replacement copy and it has the same problem. think i'm just have to deal with it. but so far i'm not getting any freezing problem some ppl are experiencing. one quick note, while playing in the all-star difficulty setting, the ball gets stripped away way too easily while you're on offense.

my Madden '10 works fine on my ps3. i just bought a ps3 slim yesterday (mainly used for BD movies and occasional gaming), i'm going to try the Live on that tomorrow to see what happen.
