Late season props to arena music

Got to give the EA team huge props for this. It sounded great back in October but now with the Playoffs full swing it really allows for comparison between the two. With surround sound NBA Live sounds amazing in Playoff or Finals atmosphere. The crowds, the defensive chants and the arena specific sounds. I really hope they add more to this next year.

I agree. It sounds like a real game and it really adds to the game. From the organ at staples center to the different sound levels of the crowd. For live 11 they should try to get more arena specific sounds and try and get the organ at MSG in there because it doesn't sound right playing there and not hearing the organ but this is one area where NBA live shines.

I gotta agree on this, I remember listening to my dad watch the Celtics and Orlando play and thinking to myself damn this sounds familiar. And as soon as I popped in Live I realized that it sounds exactly like a real game.

I even had my dad come into my room one time in the first round when I was playing a playoff game Suns vs Blazers. And I was up on the suns and he was askin me "damn the suns let them back in it" haha!!! great moment right there.

I throw my hat in on this one too. The audio is superb! Although I hope they get rid of the weird rim sounds on missed dunks and all, the crowd seems absolutely alive in this game.

I agree.

I think the thing NBA Live does the best, is that it captures the feel of being in a NBA Arena, perfectly.

Yep, the crowd can be absolutely amazing at times. Especially when you're the away team and it's a crucial part of the game. At times the game with the defensive chants, crowd yelling does put pressure on you which is hard to do with a video game. Custom sounds with 2K10 was nice but Live is just amazing even without it.

For the fact that they went inside arena's and recorded the crowd, it came out spectacular! The sound engineers definitely got it right on this one, now if all areas were as precise.

I agree 100% with all of the statements made. I think that they should tweak the pa annoucer to make his voice louder because i have surround speakers but, its still hard to hear the pa annoucer.
