NBA ELITE FRANCHISE MODE

Hi everyone,

I'm just interested to find out if "Elite" will keep "Live's", format for the franchise mode? I just think that the franchise mode for 2K is far better than EA's offering. I have 2 sons and we are able to have existing dynasties in the same season. This allows us to recruit against eachother and battle for free agents and trades, just as you would in real life. Live,"Elite's maybe", mode is a one player option and where's the fun in that.This all pertains to the offline experience, as i have yet to play basketball online.

They Better not, because this is all we heard them preach last year, that they were going to fix the dynasty mode and that's what 11 was going to be about, and all I have seen is talk about new controls, I really hope you fixing your dynasty mode, cause I plain to pick the game up this year again.

This is a huge deal for me too... I don't care for Dynamic season. The game engine they are promising will be soured for me if the franchise mode stays the same as it has for a few years now.

if on-court play sounds as promising as devs suggest, i'd be ok with franchise. all i really want is a re-tuned sim engine (which i remember one dev saying they did), more accurate contracts, and better looking rookies

I hope they make Franchise mode really complicated like their NFL series, it just makes it more fun

I Think They Will Scrap The Old Dynasty Mode And Come With The New I Mean Its Only Right Even With The Name Change We Can Only Wait And See.

If they have a great franchise mode with factors that effect the gameplay, I'll definitely pick this up. Otherwise..no.

If you remember last year the developers kept saying a lot of improvments would have to wait until 11 because 10 was a "gameplay year". Now that 11 has turned into a total revamp of the gameplay with new controls and the new physics engine I think we are going to hear that 11 will be, once again, a "gameplay year". So I'm trying not to get me hopes up.
Hopefully we will get some news before too long.

If they don't re-vamp franchise mode this game is an auto skip for me. I had fun with the gameplay of it last year but the lack of a good franchise mode is what drove me to buy 2k10.

This is a must for me to purchase this game over 2k. I bought both last year and traded in 2k after a few days but after digging deep into Lives dynasty mode with flawed sim stats i regret getting rid of 2k. This year however neither will be day 1 buys but I am optimistic that 2k's will be polished and tuned this year and will be the best buy. I hope i am wrong becuase i enjoyed gameplay wise live last year but with them overhauling the game once again i believe it will be flawed once again as well.

EA has neglected Franchise mode in their basketball games for a long time. It appears that they put a intern to work on it instead of one of thier seasoned veterencs. Franchise Mode has been garbage and I will never purchase a EA basketball game until they figure it out.

Maybe this is a reason their game is outsold 2 to 1 by their competitor.

LOL..You hit that on button brother...When it comes to Franchise information EA turns into the CIA or something. When someone asks them a question about Franchise Mode they turn into Politicans and just tell us what we want to hear.

EA will never get me to buy one of their basketball games until they get it figured out...It doesn't matter what you call the game...The competitor just crushes in Franchise...If Live..uggghh..I mean "Elite" has a good one they will pick up a new customer.....I would be stunned if they get it right.
