Ability to play a shorter season? Confirmed: No.

I posted this in the wishlist thread, but I think it deserves its own thread.

Has anyone heard anything about being able to play a shorter season? I don't like to sim games because I like the stats to be mine, but I want to get through multiple seasons to see how the league develops. Playing 82 games and then the playoffs is to time consuming.

I hope we can get a reply from one of the devs. I thought about sending a pm to one, but I don't know if that is cool to do.

Re: Ability to play a shorter season?

I believe I posted something about this earlier as well. This (lack of a) feature in Live 10 alone made me have literally zero interest in Dynasty mode.

I'm not sure if the mods will think this needs its own thread, but to me, and I believe many others, this is truly a make or break feature. Would love to hear some developer feedback on this .

I agree with you guys, I just ended up playing the Playoff mode instead of dynasty because of this.

I'm also hoping you can play a regular offline season with current rosters, and have the ability to shorten them

Re: Ability to play a shorter season?

This is also make or break for me. I loved the gameplay last year and made the switch from 5+ years of 2k just because of that, but not having the ability to shorten a season made me not want to play dynasty. This year I can't buy an NBA game without it.

I sure would like to get a response to this question from the devs...We are only a couple months away and I am starting to get excited about both NBA games.

make or break for me also. I can't do 82 games. It gets boring.
