If we are going to work on the All-2000 Rosters I think we have to estabilish an official list of the teams to work on. First of all, what kind of teams are we going to make? Best single-season teams or All-Decade rosters?
Single season
Spoiler
Atlanta: 2009-10 (53-29, 2nd Rd)
Boston: 2007-08 (66-16, Champions)
Chicago: 2010-11 was their actual best season, but for the sake of the project we might choose their 2006-07 season (49-33, 2nd Rd)
Charlotte: 2009-10 (44-38, 1st Rd)
Cleveland: either 2006-07 (49-33, Finals), 2008-09 (66-16, Conf. Finals) or 2009-10 (61-21, 2nd Rd)
Dallas: either this last season (57-25, Champions) or 2005-06 (60-22, Finals)
Denver: 2008-09 was their best season (54-28, Conf.Finals), but we could also make the Melo-Iverson team (2006-07 or 2007-08)
Detroit: 2003-04 (54-28, Champions) or 2004-05 (54-28, Finals) or 2005-06 (64-18, Conf.Finals)
GSW: 2006-07 (42-40, 2nd Rd after upset of the Mavs)
Houston: 2008-09 (53-29, 2nd Rd, Yao+Tmac)
Indiana: 2003-04 (61-21, Conf.Finals) or 1999-2000 (56-26, Finals)
LA Clips: 2005-06 (47-35, 2nd Rd)
LA Lakers: either one of the 3-peat teams: 1999-2000 (w/ Glen Rice), 2000-2001, 2001-02 (w/out Rice), or 2003-04 (Kobe, Shaq, Malone, Payton)
Memphis: Same as Chicago, 2003-04 (50-32) or 2010-11 (46-36, 2nd Rd)
Miami: 2005-06 (52-30, NBA Champions)
Milwaukee: 2000-01 (52-30 Conf.Finals)
Minnesota: 2003-04 (58-24, Conf.Finals, KG MVP)
New Jersey: 2001-02 (52-30) or 2002-03 (49-33). They reached the Finals both seasons. Another option is to make one of the Kidd-Carter-Jefferson teams
New Orleans: 2007-08 (56-26, 2nd Rd)
New York: 1999-00 (50-32 Conf.Finals), I guess...
OKC/Seattle: 2004-05 (52-30, 2nd Rd)
Orlando: maybe one of the T-mac teams (2001-02 or 2002-03) or 2008-09 (59-23, Finals)
Philly: 2000-01 (56-26, Finals, AI MVP)
Phoenix: one of 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07. I prefer the first one (62-20, Conf.Finals, Nash MVP)
Portland: 1999-2000 (59-23, Conf.Finals)
Sac-City: 2000-01 (with J-Will, 55-27, 2nd Rd) or 2001-02 (with Bibby, 61-21, Conf.Finals). I prefer the latter
San Antonio: one of the 3 championship teams. 2002-03 (60-22, Duncan MVP) 2004-05 (59-23) or 2006-07 (Parker FMVP). I'd choose the second one
Toronto: 2000-01 (47-35, 2nd Rd)
Utah: 2006-07 (51-31, Conf.Finals) or one of the last Stockton and Malone teams
Washington: maybe one of the old-MJ teams (they sucked though, 37-45 both years) or the 2004-05 one (45-37, 2nd Rd)
@ Jumpman232... Hey "Modio" seems not to be working... I'm stuck on the step where it says I have to click on the little M so I can then click on Resign, but problem is once I click on the little M there is no option whatsoever to click on Resign. Any1 else have this problem?? I'm trying to get the July 4th Rosters any1 know what other programs besides Modio I can use to finish the steps or maybe an earlier version that works thanks...
