Focus on creating a simulation videogame
2. NBA All Star Weekend needs to be included in the game.
3. Have a real-time physics engine in the game.
4. Remove the ice skating, morphing, and robotic movements in the game.
5. Add signature moves, shooting styles, dunks, dribbling, etc. for
all NBA players in the game.
6. Have weight/momentum act as a factor on player performance.
7. Players need to move naturally, fluid, and realistic as possible.
8. Fix the player models in the game. The players look cartoonish.
Make the players look photorealistic to their NBA counterparts.
Improve player skin tones make skin tones and player specific features
(headbands, sleeves, socks, shoes) as close as possible we want it to
be NBA authentic.
9. Use the ESPN license more add dynamic commentary. NBA Live 13 needs
a pregame show, halftime show, and postgame show. We need broadcast
commentary with emotion Sideline reporters, half-time studio
announcers, weekly wrap-up’s highlights or nightly in NBA.
10. Show the actual ESPN commentators in the game.
11. Add better cloth physics for the jersey's
12. Have players, coaches, refs, fans, staff, etc., all interact with
each other.
Improve the player movements, the way they defend the ball,
running w/o the ball, their hand movements/positions (needs a major
improvement especially on defense)
Add ESPN NBA Countdown in the game. Steal animations also need to be improved so that when you hit the
steal button, your player will "lunge" toward the ball rather than
just standing in place and swatting his arm.
Improve collision detection
add more animations!! we need lots n lots of animations for all the
different scenarios in a game. I want to play the game for months in
still run into different circumstances that I've never seen, it makes
the game so fresh and a lot more realistic if the animations look
right. Please get rid of blocked dunks. In real life you pretty much never
see a dunk gets blocked. In Live 10 it happens at least a few times a
game. Part of the problem is that the dunk animations need to be
"smarter" so the player doesn't expose the ball to defenders. Players
attempt dunks in traffic that are too "flashy" where they will bring
the ball down an away from their body, therefore exposing the ball to
getting blocked. If you attempt a dunk in traffic, it should be a
simple dunk where the player just goes straight up and keeps the ball
above his head so he can't get blocked.
Focus quite a bit on basic player movement.
Going from walking to jogging to sprinting isn't a smooth transition right now. It looks really quirky and unnatural.
When you're going back to defense your players should be cutting to their man, back to their position and back to their man... it looks like they are running a bunch of short sprints instead of just setting up in their position.
All players cut the same; this is definite need of a change. Big men and guards don't cut the same. Guards cut towards open areas and they are quick cuts. Big men should cut hard with some aggression trying to fight for position not trying to run around in circles around the man guarding them.Comment

I honestly don't know what to Expect with this game, it could be completely different from every other game or just expanded on. Some things i'd like to see:
- Fluid Dribbling system, with variation (not everyone in the game has the same dribbling moves)
- Realistic player movement for every situation
- Realistic player momentum, if i cross somebody hard they shouldn't be able to slide and recover
- Open post game (meaning a lot of moves and the ability to be creative with it)
- Timed shooting, none of that let the cpu release stuff
- No wacky animation for when i release early or late
- Better animations and more variety, I don't want to see every animation in the game during my first 2 games.
- The same atmosphere from live 10 but better
- My player type mode
- Usual EA online performance
- A game system that promotes practice and skilled players
- Online Franchise
- Online Crew mode, using created players
- Ultimate team
- Real basketball physics
- A solid play-calling system
- Defensive controls should be solid.
- No warping animations and dunks
.. That's all i can think of for now but i had a weird dream that I played NBA Live 13 and the Graphics were terrible, and Lebron and Chris Bosh's faces looked nothing like they were supposed to, and the dunks were real floaty and warpy.Twitter - @OtistheOriginalComment

Here is my list and read it and think about it
RETRO seasons i want LIVE 13 to include let's say 2 3 old NBA season 80's 70's let's go back in time let's go retro and go big on retro i wanna go back in time with Old teams old players old uniforms retro style retro fashion plus faces of nearly all players without 2 or 3 players on bench.
2. ALL STAR WEEKEND Let's bring every single event on this mode 3 Point Shootout Slam Dunk Contest TACO BELL skills challenge Rookie vs Sophmore.
I just wanna play game with todays graphics and go RETRO that's it guys let's to it this year if not this then never. so LET'S DO IT.Comment

I'm excited for Live 13 and here's my list for them to compete with 2k.
SIMULATION/REALISM!!!!!
The past live/elite games have had kind of a arcade type feel to them. Theres nothing bad about that, however, it only caters to casual/average basketball fans. The reason 2k has had success is because it has a sense of realism that both casual and hardcore fans of basketball could enjoy. I feel that if EA goes back to NBA Live 2005 (which I personally feel has been the best one) and kind of emulate what they did with that and expand on that then we could be looking at a great game.
Presentation
NBA Live 10 had really great presentation so all that needs to be done here is expand on what they already had.
Game Modes
This is where EA could take over 2k. 2k kind of slacked off this year in my opinion as far as game modes that keep players interested. Their My Player mode has virtually been the same since it was first introduced to the series. The Association mode also hasn't really changed a bit either. Blacktop has actually gotten worse. I feel that this is really where EA has a chance to shine and they should take advantage of this.
The Verdict: EA has a chance to reclaim the throne with this one. They are already preaching that this is "The Future of Basketball". If they can back this up... the possibilities are endless.Comment

Before Anthony Davis suits up for his first official game in an NBA uniform this fall, you’ll be able to control him virtually in NBA Live 13. Other than the name being announced as NBA Live 13 and an advisory council being selected, no news on the actual game has been revealed at this point.
While the game’s overall vision has more than likely been chosen and implemented at this point, changes and future direction can always be adjusted. The NBA Live series has always teetered on the line of simulation and slightly arcade-style with its past titles. With the release of NBA Live 10, EA SPORTS was on the right path to building a fantastic simulation experience. They hadn’t quite become the undisputed leader on the market, but the direction of the game was something that fans echoed as being positive.
With NBA Live finally returning this fall, what do you want to see in the game? Are you looking for more animations or more modes? Online dynasties and team play or a bigger focus on the actual offline portion of the game? There’s a ton of feedback that can be thought of for the game, and we want to hear what you want.
All of the feedback that’s given in this article and in our forums will be presented to EA SPORTS next week. EA SPORTS is looking to make the NBA Live series better than before, and your feedback will definitely help achieve that goal.

- Total control is great and I liked the idea of Elite but there needs to be something to avoid unrealistic moves with some players who aren't able to use them. I believe that players, besides having ratings and DNA, should have Abilities like 2K12's My Player mode (http://www.operationsports.com/features ... my-player/) This would highlight each players go to move and abilities more, making it more real and make people avoid trying to pull out moves with any player (something that could be done on the Elite 12 demo) in order to avoid the generic feel Elite 11 had. Besides this could be used to have different animations for each ability, an aniation when the player can't make the move, an animation when the player can do it with difficulty, an animation when the player can do it fluently (in this category there could be signature animations for the elite players that can do it well). This could also be used on Dynasty and Become Lengendary modes, spend the off season trying to develop some go to moves with a specific player (in Become Legendary your player).
-After playing the Elite 11 demo again today I though (as many do) that rebound can't be on the right stick, it feels so unnatural and awkward. Instead, right stick up should be to contest a shot and it could make us choose between contesting with the right hand or with the left hand. It would help to make use of fundamentals (left hand to contest right handed shooter and viceversa), it would affect shots and it avoids relying so much on the block button (which should be effective with the best shot blockers, not every player unless it's an easy block).
-I believe there boxout should be manual so you cover better the rim while trying to get the rebound (there has been several times while I was playing Live 10 that an oponent came out of nowhere and got the offensive rebound while I was in a better position, those things could be avoided with a boxout button).
-I was thinking that with Elite's shooting controlls (if they keep the idea) there needs to help us (or at least me) how to shoot bank shots. I tried doing than on the Elite demo but there wasn't any good explanation about how to do it well and it feels unintuitive. Maybe if they added a light or a nonsaturated green next to the green (than represents a good shot) which means a good bank shot it would be more helpful and would encourage more players to do those shots when it's needed.
Here are some examples I did to show how was I thinking (the angles of your player should alter the bank shot sweet spot):
