or "club" mode as they call it? that'd make it a buy for me. it's definately something they should add in seeing as how 2k doesn't have it, it's a way to make 2k fans jump ship.

2k does have it, just not for next gen. I never played, crew, myteam, ultimate team or anything like that. I'm not too familiar with what it is. I think the central message should be gameplay, right now, its dribbling, but it should be gameplay. All the extra sauce can come later.
If you recall, 2k didn't have that stuff from 2k1-2k9, maybe 2k10 if I recall correctly. Those are recent additions. Its not what sells consoles. Its the icing on the cake and a sweet incentive if two games are competitive, but it has to be competition first.
You know what game I miss? NBA: The life. That's where all this myplayer/rising star got bit off of. I loved NBA:06#dairyfree -

2k even in current gen doesn't have it. they added in a mode called "crews" to increase sales, but it's just garbage blacktop 2.0.Comment

EA should have it in their game if they really want to differentiate themselves and stand out online. Crew fans from 2k have been waiting for over 3 yrs for 2k to return this great online mode, which they have so far been unwilling to do. 2k really doesn't put the required resources or time into creating a great online experience. Thats always been 2k's weakness. Thats one area EA could really capitalize on and shine if they're smart.Comment

I hope they have the EASBL, similar to NHL's EASHL. They were supposed to have it as a feature in NBA Elite or NBA Live 13; one of them I forget. But after seeing the way the mode is implemented in the hockey game I think it would be ideal for NBA Live, and I'd sure get a kick out of it.
It's like crew except your players overall and attributes increase after playing online games, you have to choose the type of player your going to be, leaderboards, stat tracking, jersey creator, and it just seems like a cool mode to have and enjoy with a crew or some friends.

so it looks like club mode isn't in the game. what a ******** move by live. they could've stolen thousands of 2k fans fed up with crew being removed, including me, but i guess they don't care. bad business.Comment

Is it official or ya'll are just guessing? Guys, keep in mid that EA has always had ranked team-up: clubs 09, adidas live run 10, they were going to have easbl in 11 until it got canceled. NHL,MADDEN & FIFA has it. If there's no EASBL, I will cry & I'm dead serious. I have been waiting for 5 years WOOOOOW.Comment

Be prepared to cry then. Not one review of NBA Live mentions it. EA hasn't hyped it like you know they would have if it was in. It can't be there.
And, in my opinion, the exclusion of club shows how little EA cares about its community. In the open letter from Sean O'Brien, I posted in the comments that EA needs to have the EASBL in the game if they want to compete with 2k. I laid out a couple suggestions on how to implement it, since O'Brien said in the letter he wanted to hear the community's ideas for the game. Not long after my post, EA disabled the comments section. Wonder why?
Additionally, I have asked multiple times on Twitter if they would add an OTP/club mode to the game. I, and countless others who have asked, have been ignored.
So if you still have any doubts, you won't come the 19th or 22nd.Comment
