Roster question

I own NBA Live 14. I did not buy 15. (I know 15 is better than 14.) But what I found interesting was when I popped in the disc it was downloading an update. I went to Roster and LeBron was on Cleveland. Why does the rosters update on last year's game? I find it interesting! Any thoughts????

They put out one final roster over the summer
Didn't change the jersey numbers though.
