    kudos to the Dev team

The last 2 to 3 days I have seen some very nice gameplay additions to the game. Update records that show at menu have been in the area of 3,699 each time I boot up so I have seen ALOT of missed layups and better AI. Im broadcasting until 10 pm est if anyone wants to see how this game is flowing. Ustream rockchisler

Those are synergy updates. They are automatic and it doesn't have anything to do with the dev team. In fact the dev team hasn't adjusted gameplay in my opinion since the patch. Synergy has slightly adjusted things but they have sat there, and did absolutely no gameplay updates

I must have a different game then everybody else. I played against the Raptors last night with the Cavs and blew them out by damn near 30 points with 14 blocks in the paint. The AI is still as terrible as it always been to me. Don't matter what team I use I win by 12 to 30 plus points.

Madskillz I said the same thing .. I can't see how anyone can play this game vs CPU, its far to easy. CPU only tries to score inside unless u back off 80 feet lol.

I'm not trying to offend, but by different game, do you mean HOW you are playing basketball (game settings, approach, game mode, do you use offensive/defensive paint cheese, play with only the best teams, etc.) or your stick skills? What about the AI is terrible? Post a video of your game for analysis? I'm sure the devs and some in the community would love specifics to work with, and the devs appear to be working hard to please. Also some in the community may like to see your experience for themselves. I know the AI is not perfect but it isn't the pile of poo some claim either. I think its in the 80-85th percentile personally and would like to see the AI score 90-100 some day.

              kudos to the Dev team

Speaking of community, It'd be cool if a gameplay dev would come in and talk to us about all the supposed enhancements that are constantly happening with gameplay....I remember when we originally thought Synergy was effecting gameplay we were informed it wasn't even "on" yet. Just wish we could have some dialogue about the process..

Re: kudos to the Dev team

No stick skills or cheese is needed. You stop the CPU from scoring in the paint, they have a very hard time scoring and you end up with a few 18 to 0 to 14 to 2 runs against the CPU. Don't matter who you play as or who you are playing against. I attempt 10 to 17 3pt attempts per a game and 30 to 45 midrange shots per a game. Overall I average between 80 to 95 shot attempts per a game. And all of this is on ratings only shooting on Superstar.

The truth of the matter is, the CPU AI is just bad and one dimensional. You shut down the paint, there goes the CPU offense.

Dude I'm a live fanatic and a huge live fan. I want it's success, but if we are honest, while they did a nice job with some things the game is pretty broken. Online play is the most unrealistic of any sports game I've probably ever played. Late game ai is terrible. No sliders. Paint shots have been overpowered for months and they haven't came out with a single update for it. We had one gameplay dev months ago say they were running tests on it daily and he hasn't responded back since. No update or patch. I mean seriously. I'm sure they have some form of sliders for themselves and they can't even turn up shooting for us.

Game played much better at release and most people on this forum would agree. The bgame was at least balanced. Post game and shooting game were both overpowered. But at least it was pretty even.

They patched a game that was good but pretty far behind. They didn't gain any ground, or make any significant changes. All they did was attempt to change shot timing. And tweak a couple of things.

Really this game only had one significant patch, which made the game worse.

No roster editing, they have been late on almost all trades. They have came out with literally half the roster updates of 2k.

You think for a game so far behind they would be on top of a lot more.

Bottom line is the dev team failed. They claimed to be working on patching these issues and since then they haven't updated a single thing or even responded. I'm sure that's because they would hate to admit they are done supporting this broken game.

Harsh but true. I still believe Live 16 will be great. I still do my best to enjoy Live 15 and even though I can't enjoy online play like I used to I try to enjoy dynasty.

I also will support live. Despite the mess we have they have a great foundation. Dribbling and defense have a great foundation and so does player movement. We can only go up from here. So I'm not a 2k homer but as live fans lets be real. No customisation. Terrible roster updates. Slow/minimal roster updates. Only one significant patch which arguably made the game worse. No communication. Late game ai issues present for second straight year after community tore them a new one last year. And they still sold the game for $60 at launch. Even when they literally had to apologize for how bad it was.

Did I mention they had to delay the launch of the game?

I support live and I'm on these forums constantly. I still try to make the best of live. But be real . Don't tell online players (when they literally can't play a legit game online) that they need to play another game. Clearly they are live fanatics.

Live needs to make a playable game. With all the resources they have anything else is inexcusable.

The only reason why anyone is saying anything positive is because we all love live here. Seeing even a glimpse of what Live could me makes us blind to how bad they treat their community.

I'll still support.... I still have hope for a brighter day for Live. Maybe one day we might get at least a small patch to fix a few issues and at least some communication on it.

Right there with you Zroh ...

I also support the game and its still fun to play in spurts. My thing is they continue to leave us in the dark as far as communication. I don't mean to drag this out but you see EA's Twitter account like "visit our NBA forum and talk about what you would like to see added to Live 16". No shade but I'm pretty sure this community is 10 times more active than Ea's forum.

                      Then there's this

As I said before I did pass on the gameplay thoughts in OS towards the gameplay dept. What they do with that information is at the end of the day up to them, it isn't my department sorry. =(

I know from my side of the things I am still doing the roster, accessory and player movement updates for Live 15 and I am sure that LUT will still be going too.
Project's done some good work as far as updates with accessories but this doesn't sound right. Seems like that there's really no communication between departments. If they aren't even discussing among each other, family we are done lol. Then Fernando just bounced?? Man I remember when stephensonmc was here for Live 10 .. Man he was on top of it. Now he's with 2k too ....

As far as the game updates .... There has been one real update. The update that added those new faces and stuff at launch. Now being honest was that an update or did EA run out of time even with the delayed launch to get that stuff in. Now I don't expect the roster editing tools this late but the Dev team should drop a gameplay patch. One that affects PIP, Mid range shooting and CPU AI overall and in late game situations. Now again if they shifted gears toward making Live 16 then just say that.

I'll still support but I think they are just happy to get a more positive reaction this time around compared to 14. They'll keep adding new cards to LUT, maybe some new jerseys and doing the synergy updates but the patch we are looking for isnt coming fellas

I haven't posted in like forever but that's because i wanted to play the game myself and see what could be done to improve the offline playing experience vs the CPU AI.....

I came to the realization after 3-4 weeks of playing that without sliders and editing ability this game has no replay value for me.......

Years ago i would get upset and depressed over EA B-Ball games not working properly but now i've learned to mellow out and just accept the fact they are making average games at best and there's nothing we can do about it by complaining

EA has to improve the game from within their own ranks and sadly after a few years off they are still treading water at a very slow pace....
