They have a special card for his 6th man award giving him that rating. Same with Leonard for Defensive player of the year, Curry for MVP, and Butler for most improved player. They also have all-star versions of some players and playoff editions giving a boost. I don't have a problem with it because is is a rare throw in.

Exactly it's like FIFA's team of the year cards. Since the season is ending and less people would be playing this year's games, it's an incentive to keep on playing so many people will try to get those cards. If Live had this overpowered cards with high ratings during the season I'd care but now I don't see how it's bad.Comment

The difference though, is Madden has over 100 different cards rated 99 and probably another 300 rated 97+, so Tebow's card is nothing special as it shouldn't be.
Live completely destroyed the value of every card in the AH in a matter of a couple weeks with crap like this card. They completely neglected to use any reason when they made the award winner cards.
For starters, there should be an obvious difference between ROY, comback POY & 6th man, compared to DPOY and MVP. But not only is there not one, ultimately they made the less significant awards 10x more valuable than the elite ones.
For winning the MVP award, Steph Curry got a 3 point bump from his previous top card going from 95 to 98. For DPOY Leonard got a 6 point bump from 91 to 97. But Williams, Butler, and Wiggins all got more than 10 point bumps for far less significant awards just so they could try to sell more packs with bull****.
The one thing this game had that was good was the AH. There were only a couple cards 95+ and still very few over 92. But the greedy bastards that EA are of course couldn't give a **** that they caused the value of high end cards to drop 60% in value in a week. They even added dozens of spotlight cards that **** values in the 70's and low 80's just so they make sure bundles come with worthless piles of **** for a topper now, especially when thy lowered it to be at least an 86 rated spotlight rather than the 90+ that it should be.Comment
