What gameplay improvements are you looking forward to in Live '16?

I know a lot of guys are upset about editing (or the lack thereof) but I figured we could change the pace a bit and talk about the gameplay improvements we are looking forward to.

These are the main things I am looking to see addressed:

Player movement. The short videos we've seen suggest that there is improvement here. To me, players felt way too heavy and lacked subtle moves that made it feel good to navigate around the court. I felt there were too many unnecessary plants and wide angles taken.

The ability to deflect passes on command…with the game looking a bit more ‘free’ this year I’m hoping they give us full control over this.

Better transition animations. This is a big part of the offensive flow for me. A drop pass to a big, a quick pass to an open cutter should result in a smooth gather in finish. Too many times the player at the basket would hesitate to go up and end up being defended.

Defense at the basket. Blocks were well done in Live 15, but I would like to see more body to body contact at the rim. Too much whiffed contact near the basket.

This basically sums up all my thoughts about what will improve gameplay. The lack of complex animations has been a problem. Also passing is a huge issue, it makes the game look unnatural and weird(lack of a better word).

I agree with all off this, as I like the direction they are going, and I feel the improvements from day one of 14 to present have smoothed out and improved gameplay a lot, and would like to see it continue to improve. I would also add that a better tutorial to teach the basic, intermediate and advanced branching ISO moves, and any new specific signature moves that many complained they were not able to do in 15. Perhaps a mini game with XP incentives in solo play before tipoff similar to what FIFA does before kickoff.

Re: What gameplay improvements are you looking forward to in Live '16?

-Being able to make contested shots
          -Quicker pull-up shots
-Better Ice/ down pick and roll defense( the big man defending the screener doesn't contain ball handler after 1 second, just goes back to his man which leaves the ball handler open for a layup every time)
-Better post animations and deeper controls
          -Floater control
          -Bounce/ lob pass control
          -Moving screen/ loose ball fouls
-No more touch down passing all the way down the floor( basically more interceptions that work on command and less accurate passing from big men in bounding)
-Longer time for a charge to be considered set. Too often they call charge when it should be a block.
          -Contested rebound and catch animations
-Working double team animations with contact with possibility of turnovers and Jump balls but also being split sometimes
-Smoother linking of dribble moves while on the run
-more signature jump shots and free throws( at least the 7 highest minute guys per team)
-quicker transition from doing a step back with Y or Triangle to the actual jump shot
          - less forgiving to change of direction on defense. Going from closing out to defending a drive loses no speed of momentum. Some type of agility rating to separate elite guys of course.
          -better contact detection on layups

LiveMotion (Physics outside the paint) implementation into Live 16. Hopefully that brings a whole new feel and look to the gameplay.

              -less wonky animations
-more defense at the rim . Ability to stop drives
              - more signature
-smarter A.I especially in late game situations
              - more off ball movement
              - deeper more refined post game .
              - more "fakes" animations "passes , shot, drive etc...
-smoother transition out of the triple threat

                -Smother animations
                -Crossovers that actually works
-better dunk animations 15 had a couple but the rest was garbage
-players actually playing like they do irk, kd drop 3's Lebron driving to the rack or driving and dish, Kyrie creating with his handles, harden with the mix and step back.
                -a balance all around game
-better shooting I shouldn't see contested when the player is at least 7 feets from my player
-less block! Too much in 15
-ALOT OF SIGS, jump shoots, crossovers , ft routines, dunk packages. Plz don't have Lebron doing windmills and 360 all the time he's a one handed dunker/two hand dunker.
                -more post moves
                -Less clunky animations.
-pump fakes and job steps that actually works.

Wish they just a layup button already. But that's some of the things I'd like to see gameplay better be good since I can't edit rosters. #Risetogether#

One thing that comes to mind that I would like to see is the option for camera-relative right stick movement. I play from the broadcast cam's, and if you have a point guard with the rock above the top of the key behind the 3 point line, in order to crossover from the right hand to the left hand, you have to flick the right stick from the right to left. Makes sense, but on screen it is more intuitive to flick the right stick from down to up. So the option to choose between absolute or camera-relative movements would be nice.

Speaking of cameras, did they ever fix the lag on the '2k' style camera? I don't think I ever got a chance to try it post patch...

CPU AI (Tired of players all doing the same thing making them appear generic)
                      Animations
                      Animations

Basically it's time for a game where the players on the floor move and react more like real NBA atheletes as oppsosed to the YMCA league we've seen in years past.

I am looking forward to seeing the impact sliders will have on the game play.

Inside scoring and stealing the ball even on superstar level were far to easy to do.

I'm looking forward to the off ball Physics, should be a great addition for the Pro-Am Mods, especially against real people. Must feel really physical off ball.

Definitely number one concern for me, if it's not improved I'm not buying this at all and will wait for it to hit the Vault.

I can stomach the lack of editing as long as the above is fixed. Will we at least be able to manage rotations?

                              - camera relative dribble control option
                              - ability to make contested jumpers
                              - dribbles actually working on defenders
                              - signature dunk packages
                              - new post move animations
                              - lower fg% in paint
                              - control option for floaters
                              - less floaty plasses
                              - more transition animations
