NBA Live 16 - Day One Patch Out Now

My Initial Impressions



Pros

• Human 3 Point Shooting is less accurate
• Pick and Roll seems easier (could be Memphis just not defending well)
• Cycling the ball feels a little more natural (same as previous point)

Negatives

• Mid-Range Game is still basically impossible
• AI Point Guards are very hard to stop and seem to be the focal point of every team
• Late Game AI is still awful (played the Grizzlies and they were down 7 with 45 seconds left, and just held it)
• AI Timeout Taking is bad (the Grizzlies let me turn their 14 point lead into a 2 point lead for me without taking one)

My Dynasty Game with 5 Minute Quarters (Cavs vs. Grizzlies), me as Cavs, was 89 - 82.

Me neither, pre-ordered NBA 2K16 already for a Friday delivery. Two things killed Live 16 for me at the moment. Every team playing alike and the end game situation - both are completely unacceptable.

That's disregarding guy shooting backwards, lack of any post play what so ever, overall AI, etc. Will keep up with it, for possibly later on. Bought Live 14 and 15.

I really haven't seen any evidence of bad timeouts with the AI in the DEMO

I'm using Auto timeouts and they seem to be spot on when when ever i make run

I don't have much a problem with the PG play because half the league is dominated by the PG position....

You could make argument that all these PG's are either #1 or #2 in the pecking order for their respective teams which would justify the PG position being the focal point in the game.

Simply put your going to get lit up in the NBA just about every night by a PG so it's not really not that big of deal.

If they could add that mid range game into NBA Live 16 it would be a huge step in the right direction

I really haven't seen any evidence of bad timeouts with the AI in the DEMO

I'm using Auto timeouts and they seem to be spot on when when ever i make run

the one problem is the cpu will leave a guy with foul trouble in the game without subbing him out. Ive seen guys get three fouls in the first quater and the cpu will leave him in the game risking a fourth.

So you scored 90 points in 20 minutes of basketball?

I've still not had an ounce of trouble with time outs nor Late Game AI. I know 24th did, but they weren't able to replicate it.

Shooters were probably too tired to take a shot after hoisting up that many in 20 minutes... lol.

If you would, close the game and restart, see if you see a difference in the next game.
