The Defensive Trait , Quick Recovery

I'm a defender so when I saw this badge I wanted it. The problem is it says to unlock this this "DEFENSIVE" trait I need a MID-RANGE SHOOTING RATING of 75 as well as a SHOT OFF THE DRIBBLE RATING of 75.

Why do I need SHOOTING ability to unlock a DEFENSIVE trait??

I think I'm missing something here because No one on the internet has said a thing about this .
Playing NBA 2K feels like a job that pays minimum wage and then cuts your pay when you get your Bill's right to make it even harder to succeed. I do not like this game but it's the only one in town.

Is it really just me seeing this or is there that few people with the game?

You are not alone. Sucks for us wing defenders as only wing shooters have the shot off dribble along with the trait

It is frustrating as a defender not having this trait. It would be very beneficial. I'm a hybrid and my SOD is stuck at 72. Would getting the SOD trait improve rating?

I don't like some of the requirements for some the traits. Like having to win X amount of games to get it. Like to get to Relentless Defender Level 2, you have to win 30 games. For me it is a lot easier to win Street games than League games. It is close at 1st then ton of turnovers, then we lose in blowout.

I wish they would have expanded the ability to improve Minor ratings as well
