A (fun) solution to player appearances
While it was nice to see Live promptly update Kyrie Irving to his freshly shaven face, not long after we actually saw him during preseason with his beard back (albeit not as thick as the game originally had).
I think the easiest solution to these occurrences is to simply have multiple appearances for players who are known to change in real life often.
Beards - Kyrie, Lebron, Love, Manu, Kawhi, Parker, Melo etc.
Hair styles - Manu, Lin, Kawhi, Wiggins, Jordan etc.
Let it be random that we see guys (staying true to those who actually do mix it up) change up their looks.
It makes it fun, it keeps it fresh and varied.
Obviously this isn’t something new. Konami’s old NBA in the Zone games originated it with Rodman’s random hair and I believe 2K did something similar but Live can take it one step further imo.
EA can increase the authenticity at the same time as the fun.
