Red screen on face scan for The One

I just copped Live for $4.99. After waiting to install I tried to scan my face but I couldn't. All I see is a red screen and the app can't access my camera even though I gave permission. I have an iPhone 8 with the latest iOS. I have installed and reinstalled the app several times now.

Redo it and ensure ample light up front. I did mine outdoors.

My camera isn't showing up at all so it can't be a lighting issue

Had to do the scan on my bros iPhone 7. For some reason the 8 is not compatible with the face scan.

8, 8 Plus and X don't work with the app.

Same thing for me. My 8 plus did not work. I used my wife’s 7. Worked perfectly.
