Did you try starting a franchise with him on a roster?

I did all the free agency moves and created the rookies from the entire first round and when I went and started a franchise none of the appearance stuff stuck. They all went back to default. The info and attributes were fine just not appearances. So I had to start a franchise and edit each rookies appearance again.

Pro's: EA figures out how to actually make a fully fledged NBA game with excellent commentary. The game includes a Season Mode as well as NBA Today where you can actually play games slated for that day on the NBA schedule. Fine tune the game play

Cons: Not really, the game sold poorly even at $3-5 so really who'll notice it delayed? Not many.

As the saying goes: "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Who will notice it’s delayed? The few fans and supporters that they have. That’s not good. That’s not good at all. If that “con” is at all the mentality then they honestly might as well pull the plug on the series.

And they very well could. The few fans who bought the game did not move the needle much even when the game was almost given away for free several times last year even when it was discounted for around $3-5.

NBA Live is in the same position that NFL 2K was in doing battle with the established Madden. NFL 2K was not a huge seller until they practically gave the game away for $20 with NFL 2K5. NBA Live is pretty much in the same situation going against NBA 2K.

I have no doubt NBA 2K19 went on sale for around $3 at the end of the season just to make a statement.

EA missed out on a good opportunity between NBA Live 18 and 19. Instead of adding to the game they concentrated on The One and online. They could have added to the game by adding a season mode, beefing up the commentary or including the NBA Today feature which pretty much every sports game has today. So they kind of mailed it in and gamers decided to buy the established NBA video game "NBA 2K" instead.

So yeah they cut very well cut their losses and bail on another NBA game. It would not surprise me one bit.
