Paying tribute to the late, great Ol' Dirty Bastard with the title of the thread.

But yeah, The March to Brooklyn is complete and it's all new.

New Home, new colors and most importantly a new team so hopefully this brings in new and better results than our last 5 years in New Jersey.

They had their first practice today and the theme was Defense, defense and more defense and I think we all agree that's what needs the MOST work.

Heard everybody reported to camp in shape(which was due to Deron getting everybody together and working out a few weeks before camp), including Andray Blatche himself, who if you remember sat out half of last season because of his "conditioning".

And Tyshawn Taylor was limited today due to a strained left quadriceps.

The key to this season is Brook Lopez. He has be healthy first and foremost. Secondly, he needs to rebound and protect the rim. We know what everyone else is going to give us, it's time for Lopez to show us what he's made of.

Listened to the entire radio broadcast of last night's preseason game. Really likin' this team

Heard good things about Lopez last night, especially on the rebounding end.

Hopefully we get to see that same production tomorrow night.

I know its preseason, but it looks like Brook has been really making rebounding a focus in camp based on the 2 games so far. Team still looks like they're feeling things out being actually healthy and all the new bodies. I like what I saw in the Wiz game.

...but i'm mad i didn't find out i could have went to the game in AC against the sixers until AFTER it was played. Sigh.

What's everyone's thoughts on Tyshawn?

I thought he looked good in the preseason and wouldn't mind seeing him be Deron's backup as opposed to CJ.
