Bucks Ball

Well, last time I had a thread up here was the 2006/7 season. I know we have a few more Bucks fans than that season and anyone that isn't a Bucks fan is welcome to step in here.

With that out of the way, I'm glad we are out with the old and in with the new. This season I like where the Bucks are headed. A lot of youth mixed in with some veterans.

I give the offseason a solid B for a grade.

We are close to locking up Larry Sanders for long term.

This will be a very interesting year for Sanders. Now that he's gotten paid, will be getting more minutes, and will be a bigger part on the offensive side of the ball, we should see what he is really made of.

Either way, if he stays at 10 pts/game, I am OK with it as long as he is pulling down around 10 boards and getting 2-3 blocks a game. Even when he isn't blocking a lot of shots, his presence in the paint alone makes a huge difference.

Even if he improves his scoring average by 5 points per game...he could be looking at 15pts 10rebs 2-3bpg. I like that.

I haven't owned a Bucks jerseys since I had a Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson (USA Team) back in the good ole days. I think I'll be buying a Larry Sanders jersey.

He needs more minutes and he needs less fouls. I think Drew talked to him about the fouls.

I don't know about anyone else... But I love the Bucks backcourt!! Knight and Mayo are some nice, exciting young players.
