Freezing Issue during Substitutions

Have any of you guys experienced this I haven't purchased the game yet but I was reading about this on the EA website. Asking someone over there a question is like pulling teeth. Thanks for the info in advance

I have the game for 360 and I experienced a freeze every single game until I installed the game onto my hard drive. So, if you have 5.5 GB on your 360(if you have a 360) and you put it on the hard drive the game should run just fine. I wasn't able to finish a game before installing it, and have had no problems since installing it. I think something must have gone wrong with producing the disks between release and recently, because some guys who got the game near release haven't had a problem but it seems like the new disks have problems. I am not sure if the ps3 has any freezing, because I only have the 360 version.

I have the ps3 version and no problems at all, the console has been on for 3 days straight too and runs fine.

Since ive got the game (Ps3 vers), ive experienced one freeze. Ive played a lot of match without prbl, so imnt worry about it.
Seems a total random issue, not relative to disc, but definitiely a game issue.

I have a 360 and I have experienced no freezing without putting the game on my HD

auto subs on will fix the freeze.

it's when you manually sub in certain situations where the game will freeze coming out of a timeout.

You mean I have to have the CPU make my subs for me in order for the game not to freeze at times GREAT JOB EA

just wanted to chime in here and say that I am on the 360 and I have never experienced a freeze. I manually sub, but I never pause the game to make my substitutions. I either use the quick sub menu during gameplay or I just make substitutions during a timeout. I play the hell out of this game and haven't experienced one freeze. I wonder if the freezing has something to do with using the substitution menu ?

krob it is the start and then sub during a timeout menu. Since I quit using it it has not froze. Still stupid on EA's part but I digress....

really? Well, I don't know what to tell you bro. I use the sub menu in timeouts all the time and never get a freeze

I've experienced multiple freezing issues.

The first disc I got a few weeks ago, the game would constantly freeze at the same exact point in time (half time, as soon as the players are heading back to the court).

I changed arenas, players, experienced different mascots thinking that the mascot jumping up and down was freezing the game, still freezes...

So I went back to the game store got a new copy, didn't experience a freeze my first two games until then now I'm experiencing this substitution issue you're all experiencing now. It seems when I go into the start menu and try to make adjustments then resume the pause, boom there goes the dynamite.

Dnt know what to think. Ive got one freeze on thousand of games (all manual sub). Every console will freeze at times, so i consider that absolutely standard event. EA never achieved that issue also, probably is very sporadic case...
