authentic schedules

is anyone else having problems when doing a dynasty where they wont let you adjust your first year schedule and it is random. IU's isn't even close to being right. it also keeps inviting me to the preseason NIT when really i should be in the Puerto Rico preseason tourney and don't get that option either. The first time i tried to start a dynasty it had me playing my first game at kentucky, when in reality we play in bloomington this year and not till december 12. also when looking at the last years rankings and record and all it actually looks like they are using the 07 records as IU was 14-4 in the big ten and it says first round NCAA and we went 6-25 last year so thats not right either. i really like the look of the game but a lot of these little mistakes (that are actually big ones) is kind of a let down...

Nothing surprises me with EA nowadays. At least you could find a copy of the game to buy.

authentic schedules will come out when the 1st dynamic update is released....whenever that is :/

The first Dynamic Update is supposed to bring in the 09-10 authentic schedule for the first year of Dynasty Mode. I don't think we have an ETA on that yet though.

I'm guessing EA didn't care to update the team records because they will be updating for them for the 09-10 season.

WTF!?!?! The 1st dynamic is out but the authentic schedules arent in the game! I tried startin an Okie State dyansty and they had a random schedule although i could customize games....i want the real one though! The hell's goin on!?

Probably won't see them until Monday I am guessing, when the first real update comes out.

Why do we have to wait for the 1st dynamic update for real schedules? These schedules have been in place for awhile, its not like they change weekly. A game should come with authentic schedules, especially if its released after the damn season has started.

Please correct me if I am wrong but did'nt last years authenic schedules kind of suck? Since all teams and tournaments are not in the game teams would be missing games. Seems like last year a team that might have 3 or 4 games against teams not in the game would just not get games added to replace those. I hope I am wrong but I think that was the case last year and if it is I would just as soon keep my dynasty going with out those so called authenic schedules.

I am a little puzzled about the lack of correct schedules since the game is out 10 days after the start of the season?

Yeah they did, thats the problem EA I guess is too lazy to add teams that have been in, "NCAA Basketball" for years. And when they have teams missing, and have half of conferences missing it screws up everyone's schedule. People say it isnt a big deal they left North Florida or Chicago St or whatever out, but its a chain effect, and it hurts scheduling.

I'm completely puzzled how were in the year 2009 and a major company who has been making college basketball games for as long as I can remember does not have authentic schedules. It is mind-boggling.

I don't use authentic schedules for the reason that travis mentioned, in that teams lose games due to preseason tourneys being omitted and some schools are omitted. When I play with a random/created schedule, then everyone is on "equal" playing ground in that they aren't missing any games due to not having an opponent in the game.

Besides, authentic schedules are only good for the first season anyways.

I just wish they had done some work to the schedule logic. I am starting up a dynasty with Wright State to sim, just to check out dynasty. I looked at my schedule, I play Butler in back to back games, 4 days apart.

If there was a way they could possibly let us reorder the conference games for our team I'd love that. Although I doubt that would even be possible through a patch.

Thanks for clarifying that for me, I thought so but wasn't sure since it had been so long since I played that game. I am puzzled to why they can't get all schools in as well as all Tournaments even if they had to rename them like 2k did. I am loving this game there are a few WTH moments but I think I can finally put a end to my 2k8 days.
