Yikes. Freezing.

I have never, since I have had my XBox 360, had a game freeze on me regularly. Some games froze maybe once or twice, over the course of a year or so. Frustrating, but no biggie.

NCAA Basketball 10 has now frozen on me three times in about 6 hours of gameplay. Twice during gameplay in Dynasty mode, and once while on the Dynasty menu.

I am exchanging the game today for another copy. Does anyone with experience with this type of problem know if switching copies of the game is likely to help?

The first copy I bought had gameplay in which it would lag every 5 seconds, making the game unplayable. I traded it in for a new copy the next day and it works flawlessly.

I am bumping this to update.

I exchanged the game for another copy. Again, I played a few hours, no problems, and then last night, late in the 2nd half of a dynasty game, it freezes. It seems to be freezing during timeouts or substitutions.

Is anyone else having issues with freezing during gameplay? None of my other Xbox 360 titles have had freezing issues. I am very frustrated because this game is incredible, but it's almost not worth it if I can't play through my dynasty games.....

Is almost impossible a freeze was correlated to a disk mate, is the game...
The sub freeze is a well known Live engine glitch (Ncaa too), same as last year. Is totally random and will occur when u make sub...
Better to set sub on auto to avoid this (not sure anyway)

I'm not a Live player so I didn't know that. I have been searching the EA forums and other gaming forums and I can't find any info about this issue. Has EA addressed this issue? Is using auto-subs a known workaround?

Every time this has started occurring about 4 to 6 games into Dynasty mode, with me playing every game.

Is no one else experiencing this?

I had this same exact problem with last years game. Try installing the game to your hard drive, that's what I did, and I was able to play full games without freezing.

Ive got the sub freeze on Nba Live 10 installed on hd, so is pointless fatcor. It occurs very often anyway.
Ncaa 09 also give me that problem last year. Believe or not, is already discussed (and not fixed yet) glitch.

I got an Xbox Elite last Christmas and haven't had any problems from it until now. NCAA Basketball froze on me twice last night. That's first time I've seen it and I've had the game since Saturday.

Alright so today I decided to try some things out. I erased all of my saved files. I actually erased every single thing off of my console. I wiped the entire drive clean. I reformatted. I put in NCAA 10 and I installed it to my hard drive. I restarted a new dynasty.

In my 2nd game, it froze. Again.

At this point I am absolutely beside myself. This is my favorite basketball title since NBA Live 96. But dynasty mode is completely unplayable for me because of this. I am praying there is a fix for this soon. Otherwise I'm going to have to trade this game in for something else.

You guys are not alone. I had absolutely no issue with freezing at first when I got the game but tonight for some reason it froze on me 6 times (all in the SEC tourney). It really sucks too because I am a huge Gator fan and was beating Tennessee both times it froze then of course when they beat me it never once froze.

A quick note.. It never froze until I downloaded the dynamic DNA content, I am going to reset it tonight and see if that helps. Is everyone else that is now having a freezing issue using the current dynamic dna download?

K, for those experiencing problems that have downloaded the dynamic DNA go to dynamic DNA and redownload the Dynamic DNA. I am not entirely sure how or why this would make a difference but after I did this I was able to play 2 consecutive games without freezing.

Are u guys on 360 or Ps3?
It seems 360 more prone to freeze, not sure about that, from what ive heard.

360 version has froze 4 times on me already, no other game in my possession does this.
