Re: Anyone else not getting fouled?

I finally got the game today. I'm having the same problem getting to the line, and I've got all my foul sliders at 100. I'm going to try some of the suggestions in this thread, but man the foul situation is frustrating so far.

Re: Anyone else not getting fouled?

playing on AA, I've seen no shortage of fouls. Blocking and charging calls in the paint between the bigs, cpu reach ins(figured out how to get them to reach a bit), and of course shooting fouls.

I play on All Conference and I'm getting sufficient fouls as well. I'm even getting off the ball fouls (illegal screens, etc).

Here are the FT and personal foul numbers from my last 5 games playing as Miami on 20-min halves:

Belmont 61 at Miami 76 (Play Now)
- Bellmont, 18/23 FT/FTA, 15 PF
- Miami, 16/17, 10 PF

Hawai 69 vs Miami 82 (Maui Classic)
- Hawai, 11/17, 16 PF
- Miami, 23/25, 17 PF

Miami 74 vs Cincinnati 60 (Maui Classic)
- Miami, 16/20, 13 PF
- Cinci, 13/20, 13 PF

Georgetown 74 vs Miami 85 (Maui Classic)
- Georgetown, 14/21, 16 PF
- Miami, 16/19, 16 PF

Miami 64 at Duke 114 (Play Now - FT Diff. Slider increased from 50 to 60 = disaster at Cameron)
- Miami, 6/22, 13 PF
- Duke, 18/24, 12 PF

Here are my foul settings:
- Shooting Foul Freq. = 60
- Reach-in Foul Freq. = 100
- Charge/Block Foul = 100
- In-Air Collision Foul Freq. = 65

In case these others affect getting fouled somehow, here are a couple other sliders that MAY make a difference:
- Fatigue Effect = 82
- Boundary Force Field = 50

If you play on AC, give those a try. If after first trying them you're still not satisfied, don't be afraid to bump up your foul shooting from 60. Also remember the team you play against could make a difference. For instance, you have a better shot at going to the line against an over matched team. Your play style might also help to determine your foul frequency (e.g. pounding inside or driving vs settling for jumpers). Having said that I've gotten a good variety of fouls against both me and the cpu. I've seen fouls on 3-pt attempts, mid range jumpers, ball screens, all kinds. Perhaps the only type fouls I'm not seeing are over the back and, arguably insufficient reach in fouls by the cpu.

Re: Anyone else not getting fouled?

Maybe it's all in my head, but is it possible the camera angle affects fouls? I had been using the Overhead camera, and I couldn't draw fouls. Maybe 1-2 a game. I went back to the default camera and had a lot more success drawing fouls. It was only one game, so maybe just coincidence.

You could be on to something there. I play on the Broadcast Zoom camera angle. If that's the default then it is a zoomed in version of the default I believe.

Re: Anyone else not getting fouled?

Just some imput from my games. I play as both Albany and Wagner it two different dynasties. One for my team and one with a terrible team for fun. I play on AC and can not draw fouls. I am averaging 1-2 free throws a game. Yes I am a big jump shot guy, but I do go inside a lot and do not get fouled. MY sliders are pushed to the max and I ever tried the broadcast camera.

I then tried varisty level, and while the game play simulates better with their shot selection, no fouls are being called even at the so called easier level where they should fould more.
