Are there cheat codes for this game, because it sure felt that way last night when I played online against the number 18th ranked online player. I was UK, he was duke, and he had 1 player that never missed a 3...never...and that's all he used...One player had all but 4 points in the entire game...and he had the nerve to send me a message saying to take the loss like a man, and that I sucked...Sorry, I I haven't played over 1oo games and use 1 player the whole time, I like to try to make the experience fun and realistic...What a loser. Ok, I'm done venting.

I played the number 2 guy online and he was Kentucky, he had like 57 with Wall. But, I played with Syracuse and had I think 67 with Rautins, and still lost. I did have him tied at 64-64 with 3 minutes to go. It was the only online game I've played so far and lost by I think 7. We're good friends, but he plays all the time.

Sorry guys, but when I get the game, the only team I use is UK. All the years I've had a college basketball game, UK is the only team I've used. Glad they are finally good this year.

I respect those of you who have the gulls to play sports games online because I just can't do it, this alone is the reason why. I love my single-player experience, the only time I play online is if I'm part of a team and my friends are on. Other than that NO WAY!

There is a guy on 360 - gamertag is A i A 5 (or something like that). He's in the top 20 online and plays every game with Western Illinois.. yes I said Western Illinois. I played him the other day and he COULD NOT MISS FROM 3. So I thought maybe they have a lot of highly rated 3 point shooters so I looked at their roster. They only have shooters rated in the 60s and 70s. Most of these 3s were from several feet behind the arc while being closely guarded. So even though I havent seen any cheat code for 3 pointers this guy definitely has something fishy going on.

I think there are areas on the court that there's a higher likelihood of making 3s. Players spot up in the corner and at the elbow more than most other spots. I think part of the issue (as pointed out by others here and found in NBA Live) is that defenders when playing man do not guard them very tight in these locations, leaving them open for shots more than other spots on the floor.

I played a guy who used UK & Wall and would run down and shoot from the elbow everytime. Even when in his face with a defender manually, he would make a lot. It seems like the proximity of the defender isn't a huge factor, plus I think Wall has an extremely high 3PT rating.

Another move I saw online was a guy using Reynolds of NOVA and he would step back on the dribble at the top of the key. More often than not that move would put him right at or behind the 3 point line and he would be open. It seems like the defense either does not get in their face on this move or the game doesn't consider proximity enough.

All I know is that I've played several guys who passed up open lanes to the hoop to shoot contested threes and they still win the game. That's probably my lone big gripe with the gameplay. Everything else seems minor by comparison.

cdj hit right on the head....it's the exact same problem and exact same spots as in live 10...the only thing i haven't seen work on consistent basis (thank goodness) is that step back 3. i played a guy yesterday (can't remember his psn) but he picked purdue and i swear all but maybe 3 or 4 shots THE WHOLE GAME were 3's...i still won though lol but its no fun and not to mention the fact i feel like imma put my controller thru my tv sometimes
