Gonna go Ted Bundy on my Max Drive

Haven't had any problems with rosters before (including Blacklovers' v1.0), but I am having fits with v3.0. When I go to move the .max onto the Max Drive, it keeps telling me that the file is write protected. WTF? I know I'm turning 39 in a couple of months, but I can't figure out what I'm suddenly doing wrong.

Saved file to C:\Program Files\Datel\MaxDrive PS2\Saves

I thought it was a simple drag and drop onto the Max Drive (or copy & paste)? Someone please help me before I go shopping for an Alzheimer's prescription. I officially hate myself for posting this, but this computer is too expensive to lob into my driveway.

Simple answer. On the side of the USB Flash Drive is a latch, you have the latch in locked (hence write-protected). Just undo the latch to have the lock open and it should work.
