How do you unzip a .z36 file ??

Before you save the rosters (Thanks by the way) via the Datel Xchange 360 you are supposed to unzip the file (the file has a .z36 extension) however I can't find a software application that will do this.

Someone please help. What software do I use to unzip a .z36 file ?

Re: How do you unzip a .z36 file ??

Just to elaborate further. When I save the .z36 file to the memory cardand then put it into the Xbox 360 the xbox360 does not find any files on the card. So I figure I have to unzip the .z36 file?

yeah you have to unzip the file and put it in the folder that you set for the xchange360.

xp has an internal program to unzip files. if you dont have xp or if you do, you can also use winzip/winrar

this is a free program you can use to unzip. hopefully it works with the 360 file

I use the Transfer Kit, so I have no problem but WinRAR does not open up the .z36 file. I believe you have use those with the Xchange360 software that came with the kit.

Are you talking about uncompressing the .zip file that the .z36 is in, or are you talking about attempting to use WinRAR, WinZip, or like 7-Zip to open the .z36 file by force?

The contents of the zip file, not the z36 file, correct?
