and i have no clue how to transfer the roster file to it. it says its not a valid file extention. any help would be hugely appreciated.

When it asks to save your roster. Choose "My documents" then x360 Memcard Images, It should save in that file. Then hit on the memory card blade on your transfer kit screen and back it up. It should be there.

Another day, another 100 posts asking for something that is clearly part of the instructions and has been posted on these threads numerous times. Just put the .z36 file into a folder and load the program. Oh and btw there's a thing called a Search option at the top of this page. Use it.
