Do you need Microsoft HD to transfer rosters?

I have a 360, mem card and and the datel transfer kit. Do i need a $100 microsoft HD for me to transfer rosters.

I would think you can just load them from the memory card. I don't see why you would need the HD.

Yeah thats the thing I put them on the mem card, but when I put it in my 360 and go to load them in game the rosters dont show up Any suggestions?

Copy them to your profile name via the memory interface.

im not 100% on this but when i use my transfer kit i have to copy the file from my mem card to my hd. it will not show up from mem card in game. i dont know if copying to profile will work but its worth a shot.
