PS2 Action Replay Max or Action Reply Max Evo?

Should I get the ps2 action replay max or action replay max evo? What do you guys use and have you had any problems with it corrupting memory cards when you get rosters from online? I have heard some bad things and was wondering if it was true about action replay max, however the max evo is twice as much. I really wanna get these rosters so I can enjoy the game to it's fullest

It all really comes down 2 personal preference.
They both work the same.
If cost is a factor, get the cheaper 1.

If ur mem card get corrupted just format it.
As long as u have ur saves backed up on ur comp ur fine.

I use the AR 4 Xbox & it's been gr8 since day 1.

The Max evo comes with the usb stick...makes transferring saves even easier.

I got the AR max and it came with a USB stick as well. With it you can get the rosters off a disc which it comes with.

yeah, but I'm pretty sure you can use a regular usb stick to do that as well. i was wondering if there is a difference between the 2 versions of ar max and ar max evo. I don't want to buy the ar max and not have it work because it's not compatible with my ps2. i know the sharkport doesn't work with newer versions of ps2s

All I can say is that the 29.99 AR Max doesn't have the usb stick but the 39.99 AR Max Evo does.
I have a very new slimline PS2 and the AR Max Evo works flawlessly for roster saves.Your mileage may vary.
