How are the majority of people getting these rosters? Send in memory card, purchase memory card, or downloading them?

I haven't decided whether or not to purchase a memory card or go searching for a Datel XSATA or Xwhatever.

Most people use the Transfer Kit and just download them. It's really up to you. If you don't have a memory card and don't plan to use the Datel Transfer Kit for more than just this particular venture then you'd be best off by just buying a memory card from Fairdale and then he'll get a card and then send the rosters to you on it. Either way though the rosters are free, all you are paying for is the actual memory card and shipping.

Yeah, I plan to just have him purchase a memory card for me. I have no need for either a memory card or a Transfer Kit other than for his rosters. However, I want the rosters so I have to choose something.

I have checked on some internet sites, and the cost of a Transfer Kit + Memory Card is about $39.98. Whereas a memory card from FAIRDALE is $39.99. It'd be a lot less of a hassle just to get the memory card.

Yep. People stealing potential $ from MS. Although that's not what you meant.
People were cheating the system by saving/trading saves INCLUDING arcade games. So basically people were stealing from MS. No other company would sit by and allow it but since it's MS they get the blame....
