Xchange uses the transfer kit software. Xport and XSata use the Xplorer360 software.

Re: Datel Xchange and Datel Xport

To be perfectly clear, there are a few products that can get info to/from the 360:

XSATA: clamps between 360 and HDD, provides USB hookup to PC, uses Xplorer360

Xport: similar to XSATA, but stand-alone, docks HDD or memory card, and uses Xplorer360

Datel transfer kit: docks memory card, USB to PC, can use Xchange to make FULL backups of memory cards/images, OR the Xplorer360 program to transfer individual files (though you should not install the Datel drivers that come with the kit to do this per 360gamesaves.com).

Xplorer is harder to use but more powerful and accurate...

I originally bought XSATA because it was cheaper than the Datel kit and a memory card together, but since I had to buy a memory card when my old 360 died, I bought the transfer kit this year since it's only $15, and I plan on using it with Xplorer360.

Xplorer works with the transfer kit too. I find it easier to use
