Memory card errro, Please remove & re-instert memory card

My xchange 360 keeps showing this
Memory card error, Please remove & re-insert memory card
I have a dell, I changed usb ports nothing helps
any help is appreciated

have you configured your memory card?

If yes, uninstall and install again (the Xchange program that is)

All you would have to do is put it in your Xbox 360 and add a gamesave on it. But if you have done that already try uninstalling and installing the software again, if the problem persists I have a solution but it takes a while and is very difficult.

it is a little complicated but you have to go to device manager and you will see two x360 mem drivers in your usb section. Un-install one of them and continue to update driver. when screen reappears to update driver choose I will select driver to install and browse your program file and look in the datel folder and select the driver in that folder and it should work. the driver look like one of those files with a bolt on it.

I had to get a new memory card and it work just fine.
