Installed DT's roster, now says disc dirty

I didn't delete the unkown profile and roster right away, i turned on the game while it was still on the hard drive, after loading and editing the roster and saving it as me roster

now I get disc dirty

any help is appreciated

maybe it is the disc? but thats too fishy, I do see a ring around the disc, can you guys check yours see if there's a ring about 1/2 inch in all around?

I had the same damn problem, but I couldnt take it anymore so I returned it to Walmart and since they were out of 360 Versions I went with Xbox's. To be honest I think both are fun. I just wish the 360 one would work! Even last years messes up on mine. Also, yes I had the ring on mine...

If your disc has a pronounced "ring" on it it probably means that your Xbox 360 is scratching the discs. Try putting it on a flat even surface and see if it does it to another game.
A friend of mine had his Guitar hero II disc and his Gears of War disc get a "ring" around them probably an 1/2 inch or less from the outside of the disc and it caused both games to freeze and GH now won't even load. He called MS and they told him it was his console sitting on the carpet and not being completely level, also told him to clear his cache.

Not sure if any of that helps, but once he put his 360 on a flat table top, I let him use my DiRT game disc in his Xbox 360 and it didn't even touch it. Not a scratch.

Try laying your 360 on its side. The same thing happened to my copy of Oblivion and NCAA. The Oblivion won't even load now, but when I laid it on its side, my NCAA Football 08 works just fine.
