Hey folks,

I am new to the site. I have a question, I am thinking of buying a sharkport for my PS2. I want to be able to download the rosters for NCAA football 08. I saw one on ebay, it says only compatiable with models 30001-35001. My ps2 serial number is something like sgch-50001. Do you folks know if it would work? I cannot play yhe game without the rosters. Let me know. Thank you.

I had a sharkport in the past, and had a lot of issues with it. I don't know if it was because of the model of my ps2 or what, just had a lot of problems. I now have/use a Maxdrive, basically you copy the files onto a flash drive, plug it into the PS2, then put in this CD that comes with it to unpack the files from the flash drive onto your mem card. It's substantially easier and has a far better success rate. And I know they work with 50001's because thats what I had.
