So I was wondering, say if I name some players, and let the CPU re-name all the players in the game from like QB # 9 or whatever, do the names that I have manually inputted get overwritten or do they stay the same as I entered and all of the names get changed by the CPU?

i think if you use the auto-naming thing for the roster it will only change the player that has the default name in it. example: WR #80 will be renamed to a random name, but if you had put in a name like joe smith, it should remain the same.

Very awesome, you definitely made my day, I was trying to remember, but couldn't, I was thinking about it last night, and almost rented the game to figure it out.

It only does the #s. I use to only do the team i was being and let them rename every1 else.

I have another ? When you rename the rosters do you have to be in dynasty mode or if you name them from the main screen do you have to rename them in dynasty mode

you have to rename them from the main screen under rosters and then start your dynasty. you could do them in your dynasty but then only the guys for your dynasty will have names so if you go to do an exhibition you won't have names.
