Tried it several times, no success.

My USB registers no saved data on PS3. I might be doing something wrong with the rar file, I suppose, but I just don't know what. I'm unzipping the file onto my USB, under the PS3 folder. I also unzipped it into the PSV folder which is inside an EXPORT folder inside the PS3 folder. Nothing.

Any help, as always, greatly appreciated...Matt

Can you help me figure out what I might be doing wrong?

My USB constantly reads "No Saved Data" in the Saved Data Utility menu.

you have to create the files like stated above in the tutorial I posted

You can't simply just drag and drop, you have to do the PS3, EXPORT, PSV, then put your file into that "PSV" file

hmmmm....i'm not sure what to tell you. have you tried reformatting the usb drive?
