1st Round - 96-95 Overall
2nd Round - 95-94 Overall
3rd Round - 94-93 Overall
4th Round - 92 Overall
5th Round - 91 Overall
6th Round - 90 Overall
7th Round and PFA - 89 and Below Overall



I think that this should be the ratings scale for NCAA, I try to make the my rosters like this. I think that their should be only a few 97's in the game and they are the top 5 or 10 picks. 98 and 99's should be almost scarce, only come around once every so often. Let me know what you guys think or post your own scale.

Eh, not necessarily. I do believe there should be very few 97+ but not for the other particulars. 1st rounders are usually 93+, 2nd rounders 90-93 and so on. But hey, Troy's McKelvin from last year...only rated like an 88-89 and wound up being a top 15 pick

ive created draft classes for ps2 and was playing on doing it for ps3 if madden wasnt screwed up

but my base i used was this Last Year

Top Quarterback
Matt Ryan- 92 OVR at Start- 95 OVR Finished= 82 in Madden

Top Runningbacks
Darren McFadden- 94 OVR at Start- 97 OVR Finished= 83-84 in Madden

Jonathan Stewart- 92 OVR at Start- 95 OVR Finished= 80 in Madden

I wouldnt make any players above a 94 in NCAA at the start of the season except ILB, i would make all players at ILB hav HIGH OVRs cause that the only way that they come in good as a rookie and high draft picks

I agree with that, now. I used to play Madden all the time but since the 06' season it's gone downhill. I don't think freshman or NFL rookies should be rated above an 85 unless they're spectular, can't miss products

Thanks Matt, you make a good point about the progression through the season. I think I will def go by your rules of not having anybodys overall rating above that. I was actually trying to figure it out because I am creating guys on the FCS roster that have the chance to get drafted in late rounds. Thanks man for your help.
