    earosters.com sold?

it would appear that earosters.com owned by Linder was sold to that douche Kaldenberg.

Yet the forums there are closed.

Sold? The fact that there's a reference to gamerchicken.com (not even an open site) on the earosters main page makes me want to think that something else is going on.

On a related note, can FK still be found? fairdale-kings.com (his most recent site) goes to a godaddy domain page. What's up there? (Have I been out of the loop here?)

Not to demean or belittle anyone else naming rosters (as I appreciate all efforts), but are there any "big names" left offering them? <- I can't figure out another way of saying that that doesn't sound mean or offensive...no offense is meant.

Did he? I don't know. If I knew he did then I might be able to answer why. At this point, all I know is that he doesn't have his own site from which he offers his named rosters...or he doesn't have one, yet...or he doesn't have one still...

DT was free, too. At least, I never was charged anything for downloading them.

                  I don't recall who's rosters I used last year...

                    Re: earosters.com sold?

i used dts rosters last year for 09 but i am pretty sure he sold the site and quit doing rosters.id have to search for the old thread(it was on ign) but it basically said that there was no need for him(ea locker), his workload was getting too high(too popular) and it was basically thankless(he did them for free)

roster "sales" are a thing of the past...i hope. i'd feel bad if some people actually pay for rosters now when so many people make good ones for free.donating to them is a very nice gesture, but actually selling them? that to me sounds like someone else for sam keller to sue

If you were asking me, I don't know.

Personally, I don't care. I don't like Microsoft products (no offense to the 360 itself, apart from the widely known issues, it suffers from Microsoft branding as far as I'm concerned).

Has anyone saw the prices that gamerosters.com (Brian Kaldenberg) is charging? http://www.gamerosters.com/download-...l-rosters.html The only reason that I know about this is because someone asked me if I had the 2010 rosters because they were thinking about buying them for $8 from gamerosters.com.

I thought that $8 was a ridiculously high price. No one should pay anything for a roster file. When I went to the "download section", I saw that the rosters are a lot more than $8. For the PS3 rosters, the price is $17.95. $8 is the price that you save by pre-ordering the rosters.

I would really like to know who the people are who buy his roster file and what they would say and think if they knew how much better the free roster files are.

$17.95 ?!?! Insanity. It would be interesting to see how many roster sets he actually sells, but I know we never will. My guess is not too many. I think a "Sign Here if you BUY your rosters" thread is in order. For entertainment purposes if nothing else.

It would appear to me that gamerosters.com, ncaarosters.com and fkrosters.com are all owned by this Kaldenburg D-Bag ... which is a shame that this dude is even further trying to capitalize on Fairdale King's name and work.
