SIAP: Adding/Removing Players & Duplicate Numbering

Is there a way to add/delete players? Also, can you duplicate a number that hasn't already been done by EA? Thanks!

I don't think there is a way to delete created players. At least, there has not been in past editions. The only work around I know for adding duplicate numbers is through create-a-player. You set your number with a team that has it available.

Example: You want two No. 9 jerseys for Alabama. Find a team that has the No. 9 available. Lets say Air Force is the closest. Get No. 9 from Air Force then scroll directly back to Alabama. The No. 9 should be there if you look for it.

Unfortunately, some of these named rosters are creating players, which is maxing out the limit. If they don't get it right, you're SOL using this work around.

You can always just edit a player into another. Essentially deleting the original and creating a new.
And the duplicate number thing is cool. I didn't know you could do that. Thanks for the info.

Duplicate numbers are used by almost every major program. It's a recruiting tool. Kids have numbers that mean something to them, so it helps if a school can promise them that number. EA should put this in the recruiting part of the game. Such and such recruit wants to play as a true freshman and wants to wear No. 1. Sometimes that's the difference in picking a school, and I would know.

That was on the PS2 version in 08, I think.
