Re: GatorBait06NC's NCAA 10 Roster Updates (PS3)

I know you said Iowa was done, but I did want to pass along the following edits, which you'll hopefully have a chance to still get in the next update that gets uploaded to your locker on Sunday. And it appears you've incorporated most of the Iowa edit suggestions that I had made in your previous roster thread, if that helps vouch for my credibility:

QB John Weinke and QB James Vandenberg should be flip-flopped (made into each other) Vandenberg should be the higher rated and faster of the two
QB John Weinke should be spelled Wienke

HB Jeff Brinson should be a RS-FR (not a SOPH)
HB Brad Rogers should be a true FR (not a SOPH)
HB Paki OMeara is the 2nd string HB at the start of fall camp (Here's the link to Iowa's recently posted Media Fact Book, with the pre-season depth chart on page 31: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/...plement-09.pdf), yet he's the 2nd lowest HB on the team at 72 ovr. I'd bump him up to about a 78 ovr.

WR Marvin McNutt is listed as the starter at WR coming into fall camp (he may not still be there by the season opener), yet he's the worst rated WR on the team currently (66 ovr). I'd bump him up to about an 80 ovr (still only makes him the 4th or 5th highest rated Hawkeye WR).

LT Nolan MacMillan should be #76
LG Julian Vandervelde move to RG, switch to medium 2 face, and lower to about an 84 ovr
LG Dan Doering move to RG and bump up to about an 81 ovr
C Rafael Eubanks should be medium 2 face
RG Andy Kuempel move to LG and lower to about an 82 or 83 ovr
RT Markus Zusevics should be a RS-SOPH (not a true SOPH)

DT Cody Hundertmark should be a RS-SOPH (not a true JR)

LOLB AJ Edds needs bumped to about a 90 ovr (he's currently an 80 ovr). He'll be a 3-year starter at OLB this season, and he's a 2nd team all-conference pick by Phil Steele's magazine. He's arguably Iowa's best LB (yet MLB Pat Angerer gets a 93 ovr from EA)

CB Shaun Prater is Iowa's 3rd best CB (will be the nickel back), yet he's rated the worst CB on the team at 67 ovr. He should be a 79 or 80 ovr.

FS Brett Greenword should be spelled Greenwood

DEPTH CHART:

QB: Stanzi, Vandenberg, Wienke
HB: Hampton, Brinson, OMeara, Wegher
FB: Morse, Leppert, Brinson
WR: J Koulianos, Stross, McNutt, Sandeman, Davis, Chaney
TE: Moeaki, Reisner, Herman
LT: Bulaga, Reiff, Zusevics
LG: Richardson, Kuempel, Haganman
C: Eubanks, Koeppel, Ferentz
RG: Vandervelde, Doering, Gettis
RT: Calloway, Reiff, Zusevics

LE: Ballard, Binns, Daniel
RE: Clayborn, Geary, Binns
DT: Klug, Daniels, Clayborn, Hundertmark, Bigach
LOLB: Edds, Nielsen, Johnson
MLB: Angerer, Davis, Edds, Tarpinian
ROLB: Hunter, Tarpinian, Nielsen
CB: Spievey, Bernstine, Prater, Castillo, Lowe
FS: Greenwood, Swanson, Cato
SS: Sash, Cato, Swanson

K: Mossbrucker, Murray
P: Donahue, Murray

KR: J Koulianos, OMeara, Wegher, Chaney, Spievey
PR: Sandeman, Sash, J Koulianos, Wegher, Spievey

KOS: Murray, Mossbrucker

LS: Koeppel

HB Gordon Warner -> Change to HB #23 (So.) Morgan Williams

http://www.utrockets.com/ViewArticle...&Q_SEASON=2009
HB Jason Washington -> Change to QB/WR #10 (Take from WR Daxton Swanson) David Pasquale. Put him at WR to start but give him some QB skills as he could get moved there. Was his HS position.

HB Jake Walker -> #6

Will post more later, EA's Toledo roster is a mess and a half.

Re: GatorBait06NC's NCAA 10 Roster Updates (PS3)

There are a lot of changes to the Alabama roster. So many that I'm not sure that the way you wrote makes sense for this particular case.

So, what I'll do is add the "Depth Charts". For new players, I'll put a '*', for players out of position I'll put a '^'. For all freshmen, I'll put their rivals star rating in brackets. Number changes will be in square brackets.

OFFENSE Depth Chart:
C: W. Vlachos, D. Ross^
RG: A. McCullough* [52], JM. Boswell^, C. Warmack* (3) [65]
LG: M. Johnson, B. Motley^, K. Williams
LT: J. Carpenter, DJ Fluker^ (5) [76], A. Steen* [61]
RT: D. Davis, T. Love^, B. Jones^
QB: G. McElroy, S. Jackson, AJ McCarron [10], T. Darrah
RB: M. Ingram, T. Richardson (5) [3], R. Upchurch, E. Lacy* (4) [42]
FB: B. Huber, M. Marrow (4) [33]
TE: C. Peek, B. Smelley, C. Underwood, M. Williams * [89]
WR: J. Jones, M. McCoy, M. Maze, M. Bowman* (4) [88], K. Bell* (4) [7], K. Norwood* (4) [83], E. Alexander, B. Gibson

DEFENSE Depth Chart:
DT: T. Cody, J. Chapman, K. Murphy* [64], B. Moore (4) [59]
DE: B. Deaderick, L. Washington, M. Dareus, D. Sentimore* (4) [94], W. Ming* (4) [56], L. Davis
ILB: R. McClain, N. Johnson (5) [35], C. Jordan, J. Harris^
ROLB: D. Hightower^, E. Anders, C. Upshaw
LOLB: C. Reamer, T. Patrick* (4) [2], C. Williams, J. Atchinson* (3) [49]
CB: K. Jackson, J. Arenas, BJ Scott, D. Kirkpatrick (5) [21], M. Johnson, C. Rogers
FS: R. Green, A Sharrief
SS: J. Woodall, R. Woodson* (4) [18], M. Barron^

Notes:
- DJ Fluker may not start, it depends on his fall performance. If that's the case, he'll be redshirted and Carpenter will play LT. Otherwise, Carpenter will play RG. If he does start, he's a monster run blocker. His power is far better than his footwork in both running and passing situations, but he's certainly not lacking in talent. It's experience he's missing.
- Trent Richardson is by far Alabama's most talented running back. He may not start the beginning of the season, but that's experience. He is more talented than the rest of the squad. Also, his bench and squat are out of this world for a frosh RB over 400 bench and over 600 squat entering fall.
- Ingram is more of a power back. He's certainly not the fastest of out backs. That would be Richardson and Lacy.
- Julio Jones is rarely taken down on the first hit. In fact, I've never seen a WR that gets out of the first tackle like Julio. I'd put him in the top 5 in the league, easy.
- Rod Woodson is a BEAST. This guy is a headhunter. He's probably third on the depth chart at his position, but he's definitely one of the most physically gifted at the spot.
- Sentimore is expected to make an impact early.
- Warmack is an impact freshman. He's come in and solidified himself in the second group (and possibly a starter, by the start of the season).
- Bowman is fighting for the #2 spot in practice. He's not a speedster, but a sure hands guy and very, very physical.
- Kirkpatrick should definitely be higher in the ranking. He's a very physical CB and his height adds to his cover skills. He's also a very dangerous return specialist and there is word that he might help out Arenas this season.
- Marrow isn't getting enough credit in the game. He's coming in as the 7th best FB in the nation. The kid is strong as an ox.
- Petey Smith is only a 3-star, but he's been blowing up in practice. I don't expect him to crack past Nico, but he's been amazing against the run. ** Despite playing in the summer, he's having enrollment issues and will probably have to grey shirt.
- Kendall Kelley seems to be on his way to a gray shirt, so I have left him off the roster.
- Unfortunately there is no way that I can think of to make Cody a rock in the middle of the field that is impossible to move. He may not be the best DT in the game, but he's certainly the hardest to move.
- McClain (4.68) is a good bit faster than Spikes (4.76) and Lee (4.74). He needs a decent speed bump. Further, there is no scout in the game that'll tell you Lee is as good or better than either McClain or Spikes. These are the best MLBs in the game.
- To replace Fanney's old spot the solid word out of camp is that Hightower will move over to Jack and let Nico/Harris handle the other MLB spot next to Rolando.
- Vlachos and Chapman are the strongest guys on Alabama's team. Their max bench is over 520 and I don't recall their squat off the top of my head.

Re: GatorBait06NC's NCAA 10 Roster Updates (PS3)

Ive been on the lake all day. Im also behind on what all has been done. I will get everything sorted out in the morning and hit the home stretch. Tovarich missed a ton of changes on Arkansas State. I wish I could help him with it, without his followers trying to slam me. Oh well.
