They work I am already using them, but it is more complicated than simply putting it on the flash drive. There is a tutorial here that tells exactly how to use these: http://osatwork.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409673

Many thanks for doing this.
Some of us dont have access to Live without picking up our box and taking it to work or friends house.

Re: OS Community Roster File for those w/o XBL(USB)

am i doing something wrong?

i plug my usb stick in to the usb port of my xbox, and it lights up, but it doesn't give me the option to format it?!?!

my hard drive shows up, but my usb stick doesn't.. when i plug it in, the xbox loads like it will show up, but then only shows the regular hard drive...

am i missing a step somewhere? how do i get my xbox to recognize it so i can format it?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. If you have never connected your 360 to live, then you probably haven't received the update that allows you to use USB drives on your 360.

Re: OS Community Roster File for those w/o XBL(USB)

FYI. I'm getting an error "the profile is corrupt and cannot be loaded" same with the community roster file when I open the game.

I copied everything correctly

Anyone know what the issue is?

I used Xport 360 to my Xbox HD. I've done it before with NHL.

Has anyone successfully used this roster via transfer?

I don't think you can use xport. I've uploaded them via usb, and there's a different program for this. Look @ my original post. Follow the steps. You should be good then.
