The University of Miami has released their first depth chart for the 2010 season.
There are no real surprises on the first depth chart released other than Miami confirming senior Colin McCarthy will be the team's middle linebacker this season.
McCarthy's move to the middle allows junior Sean Spence to move his natural position of weak-side linebacker after having played on the strong-side last year.
Senior Kylan Robinson started fall camp as the middle linebacker, but has since moved to the strong-side where he is battling with Ramon Buchanan for the starting job.
Highly touted class of 2009 recruit, sophomore Ray Ray Armstrong has won the starting job at strong safety, beating out veteran JoJo Nicolas. Armstrong will team up with Vaughn Telemaque at safety.
There are no real surprises to report among the first team offensive players.
On special teams, RB Lamar Miller should bring some explosiveness to the Hurricanes on kick returns with his speed. Miami lists Graig Cooper as the first team punt returner, but does not have him listed on the two-deep at running back.
The following is a list of the UM first team on offense, defense and special teams.

Highly touted RT Seantrel Henderson is listed with the third team.
On defense, true freshmen MLB Kelvin Cain, WLB James Gaines, and FS Kacy Rodgers are listed with the second team. It appears like Miami's 2010 recruiting class is full of high quality players for years to come.
