No that wasn't my point. I always liked Colt Brennan, my uncle played football at Mater Dei with Leinart and Brennan so I've always been a fan. But wouldn't you agree that non-BCS QB's often benefit from inflated stats due to their opponents? Obviously, players such as Brennan or Keenum are phenomenal, but it will always be argued whether or not they can undisputedly be called "The best QB in the nation" because of where and who they play.

But from a stats standpoint Colt's 06 season was probably the best ever. He set the all time record with 58 TD's and set the all time QB efficiency with 186. That goes along with completing almost 73 percent of his passes and passing for 5,549 yards.

I don't disagree with the inflation, that's why I remarked on the accuracy being off... But his grasp off that offense and opposing defenses (AWR) in his final year was unreal... There was a story about how they audibled routes and protection pre-play all the time... I even think he did it in Samoan
