What determines a player leaving?

Do you know what determines a player to leave early?

I believe it's a combination of overall rating and the season the individual has. I've had players in the low-80's turn pro only because they had solid seasons....it's very random.

Yea. I had a 96+ Ovr JR WR who had two good seasons, who did not try to declare for the draft. I broke multiple schools passing and receiving records with him his senior season.
