Seriously, without UK some years in basketball the SEC would be a mid-major conference.

Why would you want to go back to that conference anyway? My only thought is to get away from Joker and the Blue and White now that Spurrier's curse is broken our reign of terror on the cameo clad Gamecocks begins!

Ya we are staying in the SEC. I was just saying that to make a point other then. Well we don't want to leave the SEC, makes it sound better haha.

If the SEC does gain more teams, Don't think we'll see FSU or Clemson because Florida and South Carolina will put blocks on the schools and vote against it. And GT once already left the SEC, they aren't welcome back.

New to the forums and I'm on the iPhone so navigating and seeing which forum I was in **** fail on my part. I didn't take into account history from every single team since this is for a game and most of the custom conferences I have seen are pretty fantasy based. I was going for more regional based competition and in state rivalries that would mean something in conference adding to the significance of the games. Living in Texas I did not want to bring back the SWC because I think a conference with a majority teams in the same state is not a great idea to revisit. Also I was looking for a formula which the bcs conferences all had significant competition as well as a few schools that could flourish once joining a bigger conference. I apologize for effing up the historical significance of the conferences being aligned now and posting this in the rosters...better luck next time I suppose. What's funny is that even though the big Texas schools have individual history that is deeply embedded this past offseason showed me that anything is possible with how close the big 12 and the traditions between the Texas schools almost got blown up between the PAC 16 and SEC so I didn't figure that historic values mattered much. It is just for the game and for entertainment purposes only...I really don't care which conference has whom, I'm just ready for the real season to start!
