Let's keep our forum integrity

Hey, I've been member for about six years now and I've always been proud of the forum integrity. However, it seems like every roster release people on here become rabid and I hate to say this but it's usually new members. This is a web wide respected forum but weeks like this really takes a toll on our rep. Please guys, stay silent when it comes to bogus roster questions and constant requests for etas. Also stop bashing the guys creating the rosters. Respectively submitted.

That kind of defeats the whole purpose of a forum. A forum is a place to share ideas AND express opinion (not just popular or positive ones).


I personally don't go with the name calling etc but I got no problem with those who do. If they feel that strongly about a particular issue then let them express it in any way they want.

The fact that forums have any posting rules at all kinda upsets me, as it basically just a way to water down people's opinions.

Again the name calling is not my thing but I say you someone decides to start a website that is a forum they should allow all inputs, good, bad or ugly I dont subscribe to the notion that all commentary HAS to be constructive. Let people say what they want, how they want to.

Rules , in my view don't water down opinions- they help bring them back to reality. The anonymity of the Internet creates false bravado... Unchecked , pretty much every internet forum would descend into a chaos that does not reflect how we act in the real world.

That being said I'm going to close this , even though well intentioned.

While your intentions are good, we have to close it because of posts like the one below.

The irony in all this - the OP mentions new members - and here you are following up his post... being a new member.
