Re: Playmakers NCAA 13 Historic Team(s) Poll

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to make a Historic roster file with All-Time teams? I thought it would be cool just to take the existing rosters out of the box, and make historic teams for all the major programs. This wouldn't serve much use in dynasty mode, but would be awesome for people to have. We could just keep it going through the years. I really like the 90's all decade teams though. Very cool. I think 2000-2009 all decade would be fun as well.

In the mean time, I'm going to keep working on these templates.

Re: Playmakers NCAA 13 Historic Team(s) Poll

It's good to see the feedback for the team already assembled....

Every team posted equals less research time for me and a quicker way to get the lineups in the game once NCAA 13 drops....

I took the year off last year to work on some College Basketball rosters.

But I think Historic Rosters are always good for any Sports Games.

It's gives you a different type of rosters which add's more replay value to today's sports games IMO.

Checkout out some of my created players from before the 90's which i'm going to miss creating this year.....

Miami's Playmaker Michael Irvin

FSU Shutdown CB Deion Sanders

Texas Legend Earl Campbell

Clemson Alumni William "The Refridgerator" Perry

Minnesota Alumni Tony Dungy

Georgia Alumni Herschel Walker

The Boz

Jim Brown
Brown's legend at Syracuse was in football, and he began the legend of #44. Brown was the ultimate running back, and also the place kicker on the team. He set standards in football that all future Syracuse players would be measured by. In a game against Colgate in 1956, Brown ran for 196 yards, scored 6 touchdowns, and kicked 7 extra points for a total of 43 points... an NCAA record that stood for over 40 years.

Terry Bradshaw of L.Tech

UCLA PIONEER Jackie Robinson

Re: Playmakers NCAA 13 Historic Team(s) Poll

It would be awesome if EA would hook us up with more throwback uniforms. I'm a sucker for tradition. Irvin would look sick in the ol canes garb. Those picture look amazing. Was hoping for an Eddie George shot as i scrolled down. lol

So you obvioulsy have some great GM skills

I must say I'm very impressed with your knowledge...... ....

The only tweaks i might add later is to include a few Freshmen Mike Doss, Ben Harstock, Matt Wilhelm and LeCharles Bentley. Since they were all apart of the 99 team.

Re: Playmakers NCAA 13 Historic Team(s) Poll

Thanks man, I spent a lot of time working on that. I accidentally left off OL Alan Kline. When I get some time later today, I'll go through and adjust the classes of the players like you recommended.

I actually downloaded a generic roster (fairdale) the other day and created this team and Michigan. Needless to say after hours of editing, it makes for a very fun game. I grew up watching these teams, Nice to see tOSU win in the nineties more than twice yesterday!
