Silas Reed to USC

ESPN just reported Silas Redd (best player on Penn St) is considering a transfer to USC, if this happens would anybody add him to an already dominant USC roster?

Silas Redd is a good runningback dont see him making a huge impact on the stack roster that USC already has if he does transfer

Probably wouldn't start just simply due to the fact that he would be coming in late and playing catch up and learning the USC playbook etc although he has a TON of talent.

Our starter is Curtis McNeal who also rushed for 1,000 yards last year. However, after him is a rSO in DJ Morgan who had fumbling issues last season and a rFR who hasn't suited up yet. We converted a LB to RB this off season in order to give us more backs but he injured himself and is out for the season. That is all we have. No RB depth at all so Silas would definitely be a heavy contributor. We have a couple fullbacks who are versatile enough to play RB but are needed as FB's in a pro style offense.

Re: Silas Reed to USC

The thing I saw on ESPN was backwards to what you said, being that USC contacted Penn State about Silas. I'm really hoping that it was because Redd contacted USC first, the last thing I want to see is the Penn State program turning into a free agent list.

They are a free agent list. It happened to us too when our sanctions came down.
