Yup. Devin Smith dropped three touchdown passes in the Indiana game alone last year.
The "Braxton should be a running back" thing is ridiculous. He has elite arm strength. Bad mechanics and dropped balls really made his stats look lackluster last year, but he worked with Whitfield this summer to improve that. And Whitfield is the guy who helped Johnny Manziel go from a three-star, redshirted QB to an elite quarterback.
Also, his throwing ratings are pretty accurate IMO. I think he's at like a 92 arm strength and low-80's accuracy. His running stats are great, but there's no way his juke move should only be an 80. He's made cuts that I still can't believe a human being is capable of.
And passing isn't the only thing you should judge a QB on. He had 1200 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns. In a spread offense, where QB rushing is huge, he absolutely is worth a mid-90's rating.
Agreed. Henne was a very good college QB. Not on the level of a guy like Newton, or Andrew Luck, but still a very good college QB.

Imagine the Michigan fan whining about it lol!!! Have you seen him play? An 86?? He is one of the Heisman Trophy favorites, along with a handful of other awards! He tore you up pretty good last year as a Sophomore, and something tells me in about four and a half months you won't be asking this question anymore

Miller's game against Michigan wasn't great, but yeah. I remember there was a huge debate on here last year because I said I thought he deserved around an 85 or 86. There were people on here saying he was only worth about an 80. I told them that he was going to have a huge year, but before the season started, an 85 or 86 was reasonable. And that's what he ended up being rated.
A 96 is a really high rating, yeah, but let's not forget that AJ McCarron is a 97 in the game. McCarron is good, but he's probably the least talented starter on that team. Braxton is, by far, the most talented starter on our offense.
Second season in the spread + better mechanics + better weapons = a season worthy of that 96 rating. And with EA Tiburon's notoriously high ratings, if he comes back for his senior season, he could end up being a 99.
I disagree with your comparison of Miller to Robinson. As I said before, Braxton's arm strength is incredible. Denard's arm strength was always his weakness. Both have similarly flawed mechanics, but at least Braxton could get away with a lot because he could throw absolute bullets.
I'm telling you guys, if he stays healthy this year, look out for him to win a Heisman. His stats are going to get WAY better.
EDIT: And I don't mean for this to sound as homer-ish as it probably does. I completely agree that EA's rankings are inflated, but Braxton is absolutely on-par with the top rated QB's in the game. There are dozens of players we could call overrated in this game, or underrated. If anything, we should be having a discussion about revamping the ratings system, which I really hope happens on the next gen.
