Are ratings off on this game? Braxton Miller (OSU) has ratings like Lebron James?
Seriously? A 96 overall?Tags: None -

No, has nothing to do with that at all. It's not just him, it's other players, in the ACC, SEC, you name it. I know he's really good, I admit that, I'm just not justifying that rating. That's a superstar rating to me. A 96 is like a John Elway, a Chad Henne or a Terrell Pryor (yeah, he was good too!) lolComment

Seems like the ratings are a bit high compared to the last few versions. It's pretty consistent across the board IMO.Comment

Yeah, ratings across the board are too high. There's way too many 90s and 80s players. I wish NCAA would use the same rating scale as Madden.NFL: Chicago Bears
MLB: Chicago White Sox
NBA: Chicago Bulls
NCAA: Michigan Wolverines, Purdue BoilermakersComment

I wouldn't worry so much about the overall rating, NCAA's overall rating is inflated. See the fact that once you get a few years into a dynasty, a lot of the top teams will routinely have 3-4 guys in the 96-99 range.
Besides, with Braxton, I think a lot of his actual attributes are pretty spot on. Maybe his passing accuracy is a few points high, but some of his running ratings like elusiveness or juke move could even be higher than they are.
But I get your point...NCAA's overall rating system tosses around high ratings so easily compared to Madden.Comment

Come on man, even as a Wolverine fan I can admit Braxton Miller is way better than an 86.
I'm not one to give out arbitrary random ratings, but a 91 or so seems appropriate for Miller. His speed and other rushing ratings should be really high, but his passing/awareness ratings should leave something to be desired.
For comparison, I think the rating EA gave Devin Gardner (89) is right on point, though his running ratings are too high and his pass accuracy is too low.NFL: Chicago Bears

Henne was average at best and Pryor was a thug.
Miller is the real deal. He can throw...very well. His receiving core was not that good last year. This year you will see what he can really do. 96 is pretty close to the markComment

Elway, Henne, and Pryor in the same sentence? Wow
Henne was average at best and Pryor was a thug.

And then you go on to say that Miller can throw very well?
Miller's only a moderately better passer than Denard Robinson was...NFL: Chicago Bears
